Costing broken down for personalising on bath robes

Personalising cost explained in detail for any kind of bathrobe customisation

When it comes to decorating on bathrobes its important to apprehend that the more complex the artwork the more expensive the end product will become. The first issue which one needs to deal with is how will my design look on a terry fabric (which is the towelling loops on the surface). Making the design too thin in terms of details will probably make it engulfed in the loop texture of the robe. With this in mind customers should try to go for bolder fonts or designs with thicker outlines.

Having decided on the design, in terms of cost the basic rule is - just having simple text embroidery done on the garment will be a lot cheaper than more complex designs. Furthermore just opting for simple texts means you do not pay any set up charges. This can be important for smaller orders such as wedding parties or hen nights in which additional set up charges can bring the cost up quite a bit.

Typically logo set up charges are £35+VAT per logo which is the cost to digitize the logo but once set we will not charge that again. So if you are going for text names or just company name or event date etc then you do not pay any set up charges. Usually have just text embroidery depending on the quantity of the order can range from £1.30 to £3.50 (this depends on size of the order and positions of the embroidery). Having each bathrobe custom name embroidered will cost you more since that requires more time and effort to ensure each item of clothing is correctly named etc. Again if clients are placing bulk orders then price will come down considerably.

Now coming to the hard bit which is the costing for more complex designs. Now each design is considered separately since embroidery costing depends on how many stitches (or how many times the needle has to go in to the robe) will be required to complete the design on the piece of clothing. The price per logo can range from as little as £1.50 to £3.00 - this is a cost idea for left breast logos and the size of the order plus having large designs on the back will be more expensive. There is also a one off set up charges which we need to include but the good thing is we do not charge that when you order the same design again on any of our clothing collection.

Customers always ask can you do personalising printing on bath robes? Well printing is not always the best option for towelling fabric not only due to the loops on the surface but also printing does not last many washes. With flocking and digital printing options now available but the look in terms of quality, luxury and style can only be achieved in embroidery. Giving someone a gift with a personalised name using threads will look much better quality wise than having ink or transfer vinyl's stuck on!
